Level Developments are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Digital Content Creator to join their highly successful and growing team based in Croydon, Greater London.

As Digital Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing high quality digital content for our website, social and video platforms, and digital literature, whilst undertaking your apprenticeship.

The successful candidate be well organised, creative, and well versed in writing captivating, search engine optimised and engaging content.

Duties include:

  • Take and edit high quality photos for use in our digital media
  • Shoot and edit high quality video content (promotional, instructional, corporate, explainer etc.)
  • Write, edit and publish high quality, engaging and unique product and application content
  • Work with freelancers and third parties and oversee external content creation
  • Manage and maintain the website though the CMS including:
  • Adding and editing products
  • Creating and updating posts
  • Writing, editing and uploading case studies
  • Editing and uploading category page content
  • (Web development skills are not required, but an understanding of basic html is useful)
  • Producing and editing technical product datasheets
  • Identify, monitor and track search keywords, and implement changes to category and product pages to promote those keywords
  • Checking the content of each product to ensure literature, drawings, 3D models, software and related products are all displayed correctly
  • Support projects to improve the visual content of the site, for example regular updates to homepage banners.
  • Be involved with and make suggestions for changes and improvements to the website

Essential Attributes:

  • Experience of photography with a DSLR camera (d)
  • Photo editing and retouch and an understanding regarding resolution, compression, quality and image size (e)
  • Experience of shooting and editing video (d)
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite or similar software (e)
  • A qualification in design, graphics or photography (d)
  • An understanding of SEO principles (d)
  • Using Html and relevant web coding language(s) (d)
  • Highly competent computer skills with experience of Excel and data handling
  • A high level of written and spoken English
  • Minimum GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Compensation & Benefits

  • Permanent full-time role, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
